The Cardiology clinic takes place twice a week.

In addition, the cardiology team also runs the following weekly clinics:

  • 24 hour Tape clinic for patients being fitted with a monitor to get a reading (24 hour ECG)
  • Echo Cardiogram (ECG) clinic weekly

The Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) service takes place weekly, which includes hearing, lumps found in the neck region and a nurse led ear care clinic.

We host Gastro clinics several times a week and includes Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) and Fibroscans (ultrasound) to measure the degree of inflammation.

A nurse-led venesection clinic (blood tests for the purpose of analysis, blood donations and treatment for blood disorders) on a weekly basis.

The Maxillofacial (Max Fax) and dental clinic takes place weekly and includes orthodontic treatment (adults and children) and minor dental operations for extractions and biopsies.

We host medical photography weekly (which links into all specialties).

Photos for specific conditions are taken to help progress treatment and are particularly useful for virtual consultant and nurse-led clinics. Photos are securely uploaded onto a patient’s electronic patient record (EPR).

WBCH hosts a weekly urology (healthcare for male and female urinary tract (kidneys, ureters, bladder and urethra) clinics for adults and children.

In addition to this there is also a One-Stop clinic where patients are able to have their initial consultation, a variety of diagnostic tests, investigations and their follow-up consultation in the same day, reducing the need for multiple visits.
